Cyrus Roussilhes is a passionate rare fruit grower and the author of four books dedicated to plants and gardening. Driven by a desire to share practical, science-based growing advice without the marketing fluff, he has spent years researching and cultivating uncommon edible species. Over 800 varieties to date.

He is the owner and operator of Primal Fruits Perth, a specialised backyard plant nursery based in Parkwood, Western Australia. The nursery focuses on propagating and sourcing rare tropical, subtropical, and uncommon fruit trees that can truly thrive in local conditions.

Through his books, nursery, and this online resource, Cyrus aims to help everyday gardeners build highly productive, natural food forests right in their own backyards.
